Context

Innerquest is the first project of a new video game studio, Gaman Games and I arrived at the very beginning. After producing, a vertical slice, the game development is currently on hold pending funding.

Concept

Innerquest takes place inside the “human body” in a futuristic era. The player embodies Kyu, after losing contact with her father, a medical scientist, inventor of a self-miniaturization technology, she decides to retrieve him by nanodiving inside a patient’s body.

To follow her father’s footsteps, kyu will have to explore the differents organs of human body while making her way through dangers such as bacteria, synaptic electricity, lung’s tornados, etc. To achieve this, she could rely on her biotool, a revolutionary tool that can be used to vacuum or eject objects and adapting to its environment.
